To protect our North American customers, TK Group invested over $25 million in a state-of-the-art 20,000+ square meter manufacturing facility in Haiphong, Vietnam. Tooling manufactured and contract-molded parts exported through our Vietnam facility qualify for standard non-retaliatory tariff schedules (often 0% to minimal duty), legally eliminating the 25% tariff penalty while preserving full TK Group precision.

Upon tool assembly, the mold is mounted into a properly matched press in our dedicated trial bays. We run a 4-hour continuous dry cycle followed by scientific injection molding trials using your specified production polymer and masterbatch.

We generate high-definition video of the mold in operation, record RJG cavity pressure curves, and conduct a 32-point dimensional inspection using Zeiss multi-sensor CMMs. Physical T1 parts are air-freighted via DHL/FedEx directly to Brandon in NC and to your engineering department. Any dimensional tuning is executed steel-safe before final export crating is authorized.

We build 100% to your domestic shop standards. For North American molders, we utilize DME or Progressive inch/metric standard components, Inch threads/water fittings, Husky or Mold-Masters hot runners with standard thermocouple plugs, and certified North American or European steels. You can run our export molds in your domestic Cincinnati, Engel, Milacron, or Toyo presses with zero modification or adaptation required.

We offer full dual-path fulfillment. If you prefer to mold domestically, we build, sample, and export the mold DDP to your US facility. If you prefer turnkey contract molding, TK Group operates over 500 injection presses (30T to 1,600T), ISO Class 7/8 cleanrooms, secondary printing, ultrasonic welding, and assembly, shipping finished goods DDP to your warehouse.

For 3D CAD models, we accept STEP (.stp, .step), Parasolid (.x_t), IGES (.igs), or native SolidWorks (.sldprt), Creo / ProE (.prt), and Siemens NX files. For 2D drawings, please provide PDF or DWG files indicating critical dimensional tolerances, surface finish callouts (e.g. SPI-A1, MT-11010), resin specification, and gate vestige restriction zones.

Prototype / fast-track bridge tooling typically reaches T1 in 2 to 3 weeks. Standard production molds (SPI Class 101/102 single or multi-cavity) reach T1 in 4 to 6 weeks. Complex high-cavitation stack molds (e.g. 48+48 flip-top) typically take 6 to 9 weeks to T1. After T1 approval, molds can be air-freighted to North America within 5 to 7 days, or shipped via ocean freight within 3 to 4 weeks DDP to your dock.
